In 2000 Billington Design were contacted to look at the Sydney Sun Herald with a view to changing the format and looking to bring it more in line with the sister paper, The Sydney Morning Herald also owned by the Fairfax Group.
Over a period of two months we worked at the company offices, overlooking Darling Harbour, with the Editor and his team to produce new designs and a new approach to news and features. The page one masthead was retained but the paper itself looked fresher and became more accessible for readers. It has gone from strength to strength and is today one of the world's leading Sunday newspapers.
